You need five bleeders. Three 7mm for the fronts and the rear proportioning valve. Two 10mm for the rear wheel cylinders. If I was buying only two sets of 2 bleeders each, I'd put one of the 7mm speedbleeders in the proportioning valve..it's the hardest to reach.
Ken
Thanks for the info Ken. I'll probably just get 2 sets of the 7mm and have an extra.
Can you still "Machine" or "Turn" or "Resurface" these rotors when its time to do another brake job down the line? or do you have to get new rotors all the time?
Yes, you can turn these rotors...
The shop would need to do lighter passes and check for correct thickness.... If you have the slotted rotors, the slots act like wear indicators. When you either wear them down or turn them to the bottom of the slot, the rotors are shot...... The pads we're offering will all wear well and make the rotors last longer....... JB
how much of a discount are we getting and are there any reviews of actual customers that have used this combo? thanks,
Let's compare the Slotted rotors with the GB price, Raceshopper's retail & the nearest known competitor's price...
GB price is $155.51
R/S's retail $193.79
Competitor $222.00
All of the brake pads have good reviews and the rotors are highly rated among the race crowds. If these specialty performance stores are switching to the SP rotors that's a good compliment for them. You'll have to wait for the reviews from the GB if you want real world comments.... JB

ATE brake fluid comes in liter tins, not pints. Here's his original (good) price "$9.75 / 1 Liter bottle." Here's more about the "ah-Tay" brake fluid http://www.raceshopper.com/ate_brake_fluid.shtml
I'll order Monday...I had to get Speedbleeder info from the Speedbleeder Co. for some other cars in the family fleet.

Hey Ken,
I corrected the typo on the fluid. 1 liter for $8.34 is what I meant..... JB
but not sure. I do not know if my truck had the TSB done to it for the brakes, but I just had the pads replaced a few months ago, and they feel soft already, and I get the dreaded pulse/shimmy on braking. Man I hate that pulse.

Hey Ron,
Check your receipt for the stk #'s for the pads or give your service advisor a call and have him check for the TSB being done thru the truck's vin #.....
I bet changing your brake fluid along w/a new set of rotors/pads would be a good improvement over your set up now......
I got you covered on everything you need for your braking pleasure here ....

I did both my Volvo and my Tundra with 1 liter of brake fluid, and had some remaining. An advantage of changing colors each flush (2-3 years) is that I can tell as soon as the new fluid has reached the bleeders and don't waste good fluid making sure I have all the old stuff out.

Where are you guys getting speed bleeders for the rear? All the web sites I go to only list them for the front.
