Default Eclipse Fit

Waiting for pics from Joey on the Eclipse fit in the Tundra dash. The Eclips HU specs indicate a width of 7" - the opening on the dash is 8".

I was just told by the vendor that he would like to use my 2004 Tundra Double Cab in the next few weeks (when I have time to be without my truck! ) to fabricate a custom dash trim.....these will then be available from him if you desire..albeit a little later than you would get the headunit but would be a perfect fit. Hope this info helps

member JOEY should have pictures up tonight or so he says! ...as for mine you won't see it before the group buy is finished as I can't give up my truck next week which only leaves the vendor a week to have it, fab it, and then get it back to me....wait for JOEY's pics....will hopefully look close to what any fabricated mount would look like

Would that trim only be good for the DC? I don't know the differences between the dashes of an Access Cab(2002) and a DC... Anyone know what the fit and finish would be in an access cab?

Sorry for lagging. Night pics weren't comming out right last night. I'll be taking more pics very soon. This is just to give you an idea. All I did was cut a piece of ABS plastic and hot glued it behind the bezel for a very easy and simple fix.

I believe the openings are all a standard size for the double din...so any fabbed mounting plate for the DC should fit the Access cab....the mounting screw holes maybe different but height/width dimensions of the opening should be the same.

I am interested in the AVN 5435, however, I need to find a trim plate for my 4Runner.

IMPORTANT NOTE!!!!!!!!

FOLKS voting for
"NO, I do not wish to commit now but may reconsider once ordering commences"

PLEASE BE REMINDED OF THE GROUP BUY POLICY: IF we do NOT get 10 "YES" votes total in any combination for the 5435 and the 5495 by next Friday April 22 there will NOT be a chance to reconsider!!! Once we reach 10 then of course you can reconsider and change your mind and buy

I included this response option to get an idea of the people who may be hedging so as to get an idea of "true" interest so that the vendor could get an idea of the quantities we would be talking about.

This is just a friendly reminder that voting for this option is essentially a "NO" vote as far as Group Buy Rules go. Because I've seen a few people who say they are interested and then vote for this option...If you are TRULY interested please vote "YES" for either 5435 or the 5495.

Thanks

gsr2is300- if you are interested you should have voted "YES" to one of the units...you can always fabricate/purchase a trim piece later....but once next Friday arrives and we do NOT have 10 "YES" votes, availability of a trim piece is irrelevant.

pistolpete,

Please count me in for a 5435. Since I cannot vote again for the poll...please add another YES to the poll.

I hope this has not caused too many problems.

I'd like to purchase one, but I can't committ to it.

I have an Alpine IVA-D300 in my truck right now, and if I could sell it for $1500 I'd probably go in on it.

So if any wants an Alpine IVA-D300 it's up for grabs for $1500.

I'll also throw in the following:

TCSV-430A - TV Tuner with MultiZone A/V Controller ($376.46) INCLUDED!
KCA-420i - iPOD Control Interface ($89.00) INCLUDED!
