Because both PayPal and the credit card companies take out a usage fee.

Paypal charges the person recieving the money a certain percent of the total. I'm assuming that the credit card orders are also going though paypal, so the same applies there. The extra $15 covers what TundraSoul will lose by recieving money through paypal. The same thing happened during the Unichip group buy, I think Verndog ended up losing some money over it by not charging extra up front.

11 was the minimum, but we've nearly reached that so everything is a go.

Sorry, I don't have any photos or the dyno sheet yet. Keep in mind once the headers are released to the retail market, everyone will have to pay full price. I'm told new product sells itself and no discounts will be offered on it.

Any comments from people that have installed JBA headers? Is the install a huge job? I have not installed a set of headers for like 15 years, and the last time I did it it was a nightmare - it depends a LOT on how well the units are engineered.
Also, anyone have any info regarding how these affect warranty? What about shops doing installations - any idea what a shop would typically charge?
I know that based on my experience, headers are one of the biggest performance gains you can get without opening up the motor, particularly in a well-valved motor... Put me in the category of very curious, but wanting more information... (particularly since I don't even have my Taco yet!)
it also says av. summer 05 on their website, 4 weeks isnt summer yet, is that an accurate ETA? is there any type of warrenty or return policy? id hate to end up with something im not pleased with. dont take this as negative, i only make my money a few bucks at a time thats all.
TundraSoul, could you please give us some insight about the company that is giving us this deal? I mean are you dealing directly with JBA or a subcompany? Sorry, I am just curious.
Yes, you would be dealing with TS, who is buying from JBA directly.

There's a pretty good information page at JBA that describes the Tundra/Sequoia and Tacoma headers, what's available, and what's coming. Even if it's the end of May for the 2005 headers, I'm still okay with that. I'm not okay with paying $650 plus shipping for new coated headers later on. But, of course, you should make your own decisions.

When anyone gets these for the 4.0 tacoma
Please post up some pics of everything and how much extra it feels to give you.
I guess i am gonna wait for results and pics and next group buy.
there is NO WAY...I would pay over 600bucks for a set of headers that dont even bolt up and you have to weld them to the cat
