Count me in. I would like to pickup my headers at JBA when they are ready and save the shipping cost.
2000-2004 Tundra 4.7L V8 Part 2010SJT (Coated) paying by Paypal.
If you want to use Cash, take it and get a money order, and mail it in. As you know Cash is not safe in the mail.
Thanks.

I just wanted to pass this information on. I talked to a tech from JBA about the silver ceramic and titanium ceramic coatings. The titanium has a higher tempature rating, is more durable, and costs the exact same as the silver ceramic. However, the problem with the silver ceramic is that tiny particles of metal tend to stick to it when it gets hot. These tiny particles become embedded in the coating and then tend to rust. The end result is that the headers will appear to form a slight layer of surface rust. I can attest to this because my dad has the silver ceramic JBA's on his 2001 Tundra, which are now about 3 years old. Sure enough, his headers appear to have these tiny spots of rust as the result of overspray and particles of metal embedded in the coating. I'd like to stress that there's nothing wrong with his headers, it's just more of a cosmetic thing. The JBA tech also added that the silver ceramic coatings show more imperfections in general over the titanium. I had the titanium coated JBA's on my former 2003 Tundra, and after 2 years they still looked like new. IMO for the same cost the titanium are a better deal.

thanks for the info. its good to know this now and not down the line. i like the look of the silver ceramic better, but i dont want there to be cosmetic issues after a couple years.
TundraSoul - can u switch my order to the titanium coating?

OK Great. Yes I have an '03 I was fortunate enough to be able to get thru
Dianne and Linda at Carson Toyota a couple of years ago after stumbling across this forum. Best experience possible I should add (long overdue...most excellent truck too, naturally!)
