Default Tracrac Supreme Sliding Rack For Trucks ($599.95!!!!!)

Well folks the legwork has been done!! I'd like to sponsor a group buy for the TracRac "The supreme sliding rack system for pickups" for the ANY and ALL Toyota trucks!

The information is as follows

Details of the product- TRACRAC SLIDING RACK SYSTEM

We need 10 orders to get this pricing

Proposed pricing- $599.95 (price INCLUDES shipping!!)
Regular price is $650-700 + $100+ shipping

A $150-200 SAVINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Special Note: THIS GROUP BUY IS OPEN TO ALL TS.COM MEMBERS (registered and subscribers!)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR RETRAX and ACCESS COVER OWNERS!!!!

I've done ALOT of research and consulted with BOTH RETRAX and TRACRAC....they both have assured me that the TRACRAC WILL fit as long as you have access to the stake pockets and order the rails without the 3rd inside rail (ie for my 2004 Tundra Double Cab...rails #OL-21609)

The vendor has assured me that if you do not find it fits that it CAN be returned!
"Any special circumstances on fitment I would like to have the individual call us to determine the fit. Returns are normally no problem. If we state it will work and for some reason it does not (assuming we were given all details in advance) we will credit in full if received back in resalable condition. If it is a matter of the individual deciding they just do not like it then they will be responsible for freight costs. The OL-21609 is supposed to work well with some bed covers. I cannot verify the Retrax. I know it will work with the Access brand tonneau covers. If TracRac has stated it will work with Retrax then we must assume it will." -- Group Buy Vendor

Testimonials
"The Trac Rac system works fine with the RETRAX. After the bed cover is in the correct position mark the middle of the stake pockets and drill a 7/16" hole through the RETRAX rails. The rack is then installed on top of
the RETRAX rails."---Randy @ RETRAX Sales & Service

"We do have a system for the 2004 Toyota Double Cab it will be available by
March 31st. The bed rails have be clear free. The only thing that I can recommend is ordering an 0L-21609 for the base rail which will take out that 3rd inner track to allow it to work properly."--Megan Viveiros Customer Support Rep TracRac Inc.

If you still don't think this is a good deal read what a competitor vendor stated to me

"Pete - Take "vendors name removed" up on their offer: Margin is really low on all TracRac products and shipping is well over $100 on the larger items. If
they will honor their online pricing take it...they will loose money on all orders shipped east of the Rocky Mountains."

The picture below shows the TracRac on a RockymtnRay's Tundra (with Peragon cover) to allow you to see the clearances of the rail and a cover and how the rails sits on the truck bedrail. There should be no fitment issues with Retrax using the OL series (without thrid inner rail) of rails just as Randy from Retrax suggested!!!

Default Lets Sweeten The Deal Folks!!!!!!!

In response to Rokdaddy and sbsyncro's request for deals on accessories also...I contacted the vendor and he has agreed to.............

8% off ALL listed prices for accessories listed on the website.....

Vendor quote

"Under the group buy I will allow discounts on any accessories as long as
they are purchased at the time of the group buy. Figure 8% off listed price
on the website.

I know there is shipping on each item it will probably remain at that
cost. I will not know for sure until the order is received. If we can box
items together I will be able to reduce the shipping as well."

amd remember you are already getting "free shipping" on the tracrac unit itself....$599.95 includes shipping for the TracRac itself.

SO C'MON FOLKS WE ONLY NEED TWO (2) MORE COMMITTED TO BUYING IN ORDER TO REALIZE THIS GREAT OFFER!!!

I contacted over 20 vendors and this IS the ROCK BOTTOM price you'll ever see!! Don't miss out!

Default Great deal ....

If anyone is on the fence, I have one on my 2005 tundra and use it to haul kayaks frequently ....

The TracRac is absolutely built like a rock .. I've used Thule and Yakima racks on many vehicles in the past and the TracRac is really just in another league ....

Plus I paid a bit more than $599.95 ....

cd

Couple Tips:

1 If you take the trestles off and on frequently, it helps to use a 5" file and just gently smooth off the very ends of the rails. The rails are solid aluminum and are milled very nicely, but the milling leaves a fairly sharp edge that makes it kind of tough to put the trestles ON easily. They come off just fine.

2. Pay ABSOLUTE attention to making sure the rails are completly level. The instructions are very clear about this - don't blow it off. You need a straight edge that's as wide as the bed to install correctly. I had to remove rails once (after about a month) because they just weren't sliding well .. prob was that I was just not so careful on the first attempt as I should have been ....

Hope you guys are as happy with TracRac as I am ...

Do the rails overhang on the tundra like in the photo above? A friend has one on his Dodge Ram & the base rail kinda sticks out off the bedrail near his tailgate. Does it do this on the tundra? Anybody?

Tundra61,
The way this group buy usually works is once the 10th person voted "yes" then the group buy will continue....this poll is to garner initial interest and see if we can meet the 10 required by TS.com rules and if we can meet the vendors volume....so once I get 10 "yes" then you will see another post with details on how the group buy is to proceed. This post will contain the name of the vendor, the phone number, address and any other pertinant information needed. Sometimes the vendors want generic codes given out so that they know you are from TS.com so that would entail sending me an email to get a buyer code (a code I get from the vendor) and then you call the vendor DIRECTLY with your code and agree to payment with him either by credit card, paypal, etc. As for shipping you tell him your name and address and its shipped in about 2 weeks. I NEVER have any of your financial info.

I ran a Retrax group buy awhile ago and the vendor wanted a list of the buyers actual names and a code I randomly assigned to them....he then cross checked this list when TS.com members called in to order so as to limit it to TS.com members.

So I hope that answers your questions....if you need more detail here is an example of the Retrax post I had on my other group buy AFTER we got 10 confirmed.....you will see one very similar to this for the TracRac once we get 10

After posting my reply above, I noticed that photo looks like a Tundra. I do remember seeing one on a Chevy? I am interested in the GB if this doesn't hang off as much as my friend's does on his RAM. Thanks again.

xedge,

look at the first post in this thread (mine) I attached a pic from Rockymtnray showing a TracRac on his tundra and yes the rails do stick out a little over the side of the truck bedrail.
