I just placed my order for the TracRac directly through Tik Valentine to make sure that the proper rails were ordered for use with the Retrax bedcover. The AZtruck website did not have an order box to specify those rails. One thing that Tik pointed out was that with the Retrax, I would not be able to make use of some of the TracRac accessories such as the bottom rail or the cargo barrier.
Thanks PistolPete for setting up this group buy (and to all the participants)!
My Retrax is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, so I hope to install it this weekend. I'll let you all know how I like it.
Also, thanks to those forum members who suggested the Stant 11506 locking gas cap for th '05 Tundra. It fits fine and I've had no problems with the engine service light coming on.

helskiier, thanks for participating and yes I had to call "TIK" personally to to order the OL-21609 series rails because of my RETRAX and knew about the lack of the third inner rail and thus a cargo divider can't be used....but I dont care about that....I need the TracRac for kayaks, mountain bikes, and lumber so I don't need that extra rail....hope you like your RETRAX AND TRACRAC!!!

Correction: I had referenced the wrong part number on the locking gas cap - I bought and am using the Stant 11506 for my 05 Tundra DC, not the 10509. Hope I didn't steer anybody in the wrong direction.

I don't care about the cargo divider either, I just didn't know which accessories would (or would not work) with this rail system. I know that you had pointed out earlier that there was no 3rd rail, but I didn't have an understanding of what that implied. I'm sure that I'll be ordering more accessories once I get the rack mounted. I'd be interested to hear how you like the bike mounts (TIK said he'd never sold any and he wasn't sure if they required taking off the bike's front wheel or not).

Default Amazing customer Service.

I placed my order on Monday.

I got a call from Eric at AZTrucks yesterday asking if I had a Retrax cover because you need a specic set of TracRac rails to work with the cover.

I do not have one so it is not an issue but I was really happy to see that he took the time to call me after the item had been shipped. At best, I would have expected an e-mail, but a phone call, wow. What great service.

By the way, I an planning on going with the Peragon cover and I called them to check if you can use the 3 track rails with their cover and they said yes. However, since the 3rd track is used for in-bed accessories, it obviously won't be used.

haven't ordered mine yet - just saw that this had gone live (I'm on vacation and only getting online when my wife and kids are busy doing something else and I can sneak into a starbucks with my laptop)

Does anyone know if the cargo divider can be used with the Peragon cover? One thing that bugs me about this cover is that if stuff slides forward it blocks the cover from being opened normally. Thinking that the TracRac divider might be nice.

No the divider would not work with the peragon cover.

You could get one of those cargo holders that spreads into place within the bed.

What about the rest of you who voted yes??? Please do not stiff Mark "TIK" Valentine @ AZTRUCKS who went the extra mile to give us such a great deal assuming he would get at least 10 orders!!! This will truly tarnish TS.com reputation and hinder further group buys from this vendor. So please place your orders soon and post once you do!

Members who voted "YES" and who have either not yet ordered or confirmed with me about ordering

Question

Can you order one if you didn't participate via the poll? I'm still on the fence. I've managed to see a couple of tundras locally with the setup and don't mind the look of the rails. My concern is being able to get my kayak up there. I am somewhat vertically challenged. (ie. short).
