Got my red one yesterday too, so happy for a minute or two. Then I looked at the packing slip and i saw a 124.01. I really really hope they didn't charge me that to ship it. Going to call my credit card co later today and see what the final amount was.

Course, if that was the total bill for bar and shipping, you made out like a bandit ! Did she give you the final price including shipping prior to submitting your order? Hopefully everything ends up being as she quoted you.

For those of you receiving the red bars, is the finish any better than what many report about the black bars? Is it smooth or does it look like it was coated in oatmeal prior to powder coating? Just curious....

Default seems smooth to me

My red bar arrived yesterday. Looks smooth enough for a component that is going to sit under the truck. My shipping to Wyoming was $14.15, so that was not too bad. I don't know why they don't just wrap the bar rather than putting it in a box. The inside box had broken on the end and all the parts were lying at the bottom of the big box.

Hopefully I will get it installed over the long weekend, although I have not been driving the Tundra much with gas at $2.85 in Wyoming. The Maxima does a lot better on sipping the fuel than the Tundra.

After all the BS about getting it cheaper elswhere, I am still glad I got in on the group buy. My bar is RED, and for no good reason I like that.

Thanks for the Group Buy.

Looks pretty smooth, but it does have a couple of small bumpy areas around some of the bends.

Default Got mine

I got my red one yesterday too. Looks so cool, can't wait to install it when I get back from my 2 week vacation to CA. Going out to get married so not sure how many more mods will come after this. Probably should have just picked mine up when I was out there.

I was the second person to order and I still haven't received mine.

I knew it would take longer since I ordered red, but when Jaketparker in Alaska got one before me , I knew something was wrong.

I just talked to Nancy, she mistakenly put my order on hold until they have quick disconnects available. Now it will probably be next Friday.

Registered users, since you have 3 weeks to order you have plenty of time to subscribe to TS and still get in on this group buy. This is one of many useful perks of being a TS member.

You can still participate in this GB even if you didn't respond to the poll or if you voted No at the time.

Contact: Call Hellwig and ask for Nancy at 1-800-367-5480. Hellwig is based in CA and work typical business hours (not open on the weekends) so please factor that into when you call. Tell her that you are part of the Tundra Solutions group buy. She will ask you for a code in order to process your order. I will begin to PM the SUBSCRIBERS that have posted in the poll thread the code that you will need. Any other subscribers can PM either me or nhparrot prior to ordering and we will reply with the code.

Part Number: 7641 - the red bars actually will have a different part number but Nancy obviously knows what kit you want based on being part of the TS GB.

Price: $150 + shipping via UPS Ground (except for the Alaskans, in which case request parcel post). Nancy should be able to provide you with the final cost at the time of order. She did caution that UPS is adding a surcharge to combat rising fuel costs which she may not know the details of, so if your final bill is slightly higher than quoted blame UPS, not Hellwig.

Color: Default color is black, but red is available. If you want a red bar, you must specify when ordering.

Shipping Time: Orders should be out of Hellwig within 3-4 days plus UPS's estimated time depending on where you live. Red bars may take slightly longer, but Nancy doesn't believe it will cause any delays.

Quick Disconnects: These are available from Hellwig (but not necessary for installation. This is primarily for off-roaders who will want to remove the bar quickly and easily prior to going off-road). I will not know the cost until Monday at which point I will update this thread.

If you have any problems ordering please don't hesitate to contact me. Nancy's support so far has been fantastic and I doubt you will encounter any issues that Hellwig won't resolve.
Reminder this Group Buy ends in 3 days.

I'm in too. Sounds like quite a few have taken advantage of this. Thanks for putting it together. $169,50 total since shipping isn't a long distance.

Finally got mine on the truck monday. Did it with a few friends of mine. Took about 2 and a half hours but a good portion of that was finishing a couple cases of molson ice and it sure as hell didn't make the job any easier. Took it out for a spin,(the next day of course) and i can't praise this thing enough. I really wish i would have invested in this bar a long time ago. Even If youre only thinking of the bar just do yourself a favor now and buy it. I swear you wont regret it. Ill post some pics so you guys can take a look at the finished product and have a good laugh at me being a drunk.
