Sorry for the delay in responding to inquiries regarding the quick disconnects. It looks like Hellwig will not be able to provide them directly. I'm sure there are more reasons than given to me, but it looks like those interested need to look elsewhere. So if you've been holding off on ordering your bar to hear about the disconnects, go ahead and place your order now. Again I apologize for the lateness in getting you all the word.
Nancy did recommend Warrior Products for getting the quick disconnects. I talked with their owner and this appears like it will be slightly more complicated than ordering an off-the-shelf component. Like Hellwig, they normally only sell to distributors but he's willing to work with us. It will require making the setup specifically for the Tundra so this may take a little while too. He was also a little hesitant to get involved in a deal where he has to take multiple orders and ship the products individually. He'd rather get a bulk order and send it to one person and then let that person distribute the products from there. But there's still a chance that we can make this work.
My biggest problem is that I haven't installed one of these bars yet and therefore I don't have the clearest idea as to whether the endlinks of the bar are posts or eyes (male or female connections). Obviously the quick disconnect needs to have the opposite. So I'm hoping that one of our off-roading brethren who really wants this product will be willing to pursue these disconnects with Warrior, instead of me trying to do it. You will probably have a better idea of what you want and Warrior will work with you from there. Again, they don't have a part number or price yet and he needs to understand the details before providing such. So if you are willing to take one for the team and move forward with this, please PM me and I will provide contact information. In the meantime, their website is Warrior Products; click on the icon for their catalog and scroll down the left hand window till you see sway bar disconnects. There are two pictures of different mounting techniques. Tom said he's going to add some pictures to that page to make it more clearer how it all works. So somebody please PM me and you can follow through from here. I really doubt it will take much more than a conversation or two and they can run with the design from there. They probably have all of the parts, it's just a matter of packaging them correctly to fit. Hopefully all of this made sense .

I ordered my sway bar yesterday, Nancy was nice and it went really fast. The price was just as listed except the shipping will just kick my butt! $95 to Hawai'i. That's what sucks about living here, just having to pay the extra dollars as compared to living on the mainland as the rest of you folks.

Fast shipping but $28.22 for UPS; seems a bit steep compared to what other online retailers are charging and some include FREE shipping. However, the transaction was smooth and I got what I wanted, a red Hellwig bar.
Item looks nice and has a glossy powdercoat finish but you can see that it has a bumpy texture underneath the paint. It's going under the truck anyway and no one is going to notice.

Bought the Red Hellwig last week and installed it yesterday. After speaking to Nancy (who's super nice) at Hellwig about the finish feedback I've read, she explained the coating process of the bar. It was explained that the heat treating process caused some imperfections to the bar and since it's really red and really glossy, the imperfections show through more than the black, sounded good enough to me! Order was placed.
After receiving the product and installing it, I am most happy with the purchase! $150 for the bar can't be beat and having it available in red at NO EXTRA charge was even better. Sure I could sandblast this and get a better finish but for $150 for a solidly built sway bar in RED and that the imperfections will not be seen under my truck, I'm sure one happy camper!
