Ditto, I was looking for better gains throughout the rpm range. Seems like the VVTi does a pretty good job by itself.

Thanks for the effort... now I'm more interested in the level 10 kit as mentioned earlier in the post.

Would you really still want it for the money after such little gains? You could pick up more by improving intake and exahust flow.
I still would be interested in the level 10 chip to remove speed limitations, but I would have concerns regarding driveability.
I would need to see more data to make a decision. I would hate to give up the impressive job Toyota has done for the few times I would actually take my truck over 100 mph, although I have hit the speed limiter several times while passing and it is a little disconcerting.

That much I understand... maybe we can get a group buy started on the level 10 chip, and everyone can gain some kind of benefit. I saw a few others that seemed to have an interest in it.

my understanding is that Level 10 does not provide a chip but in fact provides transmission upgrades. here is what they offer:

Products Level 10 Performance Transmission Systems

valvebody updgrade, performance clutches and seals, etc... no engine mods as far as i know, just changing shift feel and making tranny more "bulletproof" for towing and racing applications.

You know Level 10 has a group buy link on their main page...

Well after seven people jumping ship I really don't think this is going to happen. I doubt we will have our minimum of 30 orders by the 31st.

As of now my count has 12 in at the 30+ level and 5 more on at the 40+ mark. Even with the 5 at the 40 mark we only have 17 people ready to plunk down any money. Not looking good IMO.

I'm going to talk to John and see if there is anything else we can do at the moment. I'll let you know as soon as I hear.

It will be interesting to see how the Tundra responds to the chip. If it increases HP & Torque and you all see a difference, I will purchase one myself.

Unichip Dyno Chart

You can see the Dyno for the 2000-2004 Tundra there. Pretty solid gains from down low up to red line.

I absolutely want one. I'll be lifting my truck soon...once it's done I'll be ready for the chip. Keep me informed and I should be ready by December or so.

Just found this thread. I have a '05 vvt-i V8 with JBA's and full dual 2.25" exhaust system with Dr. Gas X crossover and Spintech mufflers. Does the chip really offer any more gains???
Thanks,

Thanks,
Earlier in the post you can find some graphs...

Or you can follow the link to the Uni Chip site below...
