View Poll Results: I will purchase Road Armor Bumper Type for a?
Vote on what vehicle you have. And later you can tell Road Armor exactly how you want your bumper.
Also, I believe it is $100 less if you do not want yours powder-coated (plan on having a shop custom paint) as these are prices for the: Winch and Non-winch bumpers Fully painted
Once you vote Send me a Private Email with your Name , phone # or Email; or both. This way the 20 people group buy contact information can be passed onto Natalie Gile at Road Armor to reach you after finalizing this Poll here at TS.com. The group buy pricing becomes effective as soon a 20 people are in.
Here is a link to the Road Armor bumpers if you are not quite sure what they look like Nissan (says Nissan but is Toyota Bumpers)
Also check my Photo Gallery for Tundra pictures
I am told the for Access Cab version 00-06's will be out in 2 months time starting NOW. As the frame differs from AC to DC trucks.
I am waiting on the Access Cab design. Send me an email for the Access Cab Cab version if you are interested in getting that one LATER as it becomes available from Road Armor as we can get in the group buy pricing still.

Have wanted a Road armor for mine since i saw the setup of it but i will have to wait for the AC version also. The GB price is getting a little better then what it was but is still high with the bull bar as well which i would like to have. Guess it will all depend on the end price..

Re: PROPOSED GROUP BUY: Road Armor Bumpers for Tundra & Tacoma
Like I said, I am in as long as we can scrape up the people and get them in before may. If not, then I am going to have to pay full price for one I guess. Post this in the Taco forrum as well so maybe we can get more people.

Re: PROPOSED GROUP BUY: Road Armor Bumpers for Tundra & Tacoma
*Update*
Responding to questions
The weight of these Base bumpers:
Tacoma: 100 lbs.
Tundra: 125 lbs.
Adding the guards adds 15-20 lbs.
The Rear bumper comes with shackle mounts, Back up lights.
If you have a Body Lift it needs to be noted as this will include modification to the original design.
The winch bumper has an internal 3/16" steel cradle/body mounting where the Warn/Milemarker winches will bolt/and mount directly inside. He went into explaining how they mount. Overall if you have questions on this feel free to give them a call at 425-328-7194. But their bumpers can and will pull you out when/if you get stuck or need it being its a WARN winch ( they're the best )
Sizing can accomodate up to a 12,000 lb. winch on the Tundra/Tacoma.
Also There are 3 options for colors: White, Black, Grey
and now a liner option for $100 extra
You can opt to not have the powdercoating ( Raw version ) for $100 less off the Group Buy pricing and have a powdercoating/paint shop help you to custom powdercoat or OEM paint colors to get it the way you want.
I'm going with a Teflon Base Paint for maximum scratch/film/mud resistance
I think this now covers everything , but any more questions feel free to ask.

Re: PROPOSED GROUP BUY: Road Armor Bumpers for Tundra & Tacoma
Just a note on weight (from direct experience)- you'll need at the very least spacers on the front end. I have almost the same amount of wieght in winch and mount on my truck and with a 2-3" spacer kit- the body is dead level. The factory coilovers feel stiffer, but I actually like it just fine. Will this shorten the lift span of the factory coilovers? Maybe, but those things are EXTREMELY heavy duty and very strong. Most coilover compressors have a hard time even getting started on the factory Tundra coilovers.

Without a winch for this bumper you should be fine for stock coilovers.
If anyone decides to run a winch I would get custom coils done or go with a Donahoe Shock setup in which the coil springrate is 750lbs. over the stocks' 650 lbs. per coil. Other coilovers will not have more than the 650 lbs stock setting unless you get them put on there.
Spacer lifts are fine and good for running bigger tires and leveling the truck out.

20 total bumpers. Any kind.
Got 17 confirmed TOTAL bumper orders as of now, and I am now awaiting the Access Cab model design pictures from Road Armor to give others confirmation and showing it will fit.
Most want to see the AC Road Armor bumper before giving a decision.
Then all the orders and information will be given to Natalie and everyone will be contacted as soon as these as available.
Each person will then be setting up their individual order(s) to their own specifications, options, colors, etc.
Also the POLL is CLOSED!! But if you want one or some of these bumpers please feel free to PM' me. As there is still time to get in on this goup buy.
If you are wanting information READ HERE! As it is ALL here

Don't worry about it. When the bumpers are ready and finalized we will have enough orders and prices are going to be group buy price.
Whenever the bumpers are ready for sale . We will have first dibbs in the purchasing. Until then hang in their and everyone.... keep your money on hand as nobody will have a Road Armor Bumper for their Tundras until Road Armor itself releases them and even fabricates them.
Main reason for the halt on the sale of these is due to the Access and Double Cab Frame indifferances. On Monday I'll be sending contact information to Natalie so she has everyones' information on file.
