Haha looks like you have alot of machining to do trfytoy.
How are you going to do it. Do you have a cnc using solid edge? or are you making these by hand because if so you might want to have a cut off point or you will be making these things for the rest of your life... Haha! Really you already have alot of work ahead of you though.

Ha ha, I know! But the more the cheaper! We have 6 Fadals and 4 Mori Seki CNC mills. And use Mastercam. It wont be a problem. Used to running jobs with quantities of 400+

Sweet! Sounds like it will just be another day at work then. Will you be using a micrometer to get the measurements so the finished product will be an exact fit?
I noticed that the pic of the one the other guy made showed his was not the same thickness so it would move up and down on the pins. But he did an excellent job for being hand made.

Wish had the time to model them for you in Catia V5. Would have been able to send you an Iges or step file.

Washed the truck this weekend - flipped open the windows to towel dry as always and the passenger side latch broke. I'm like, how the hell did I just do that? All I did was pull the latch open! I'm cussing myself so loud people were staring! The only time I ever open them is when I wash the truck. Great. Thought it was me, but now I know. Glad I happened upon this thread.

Just saw the message about you possibly getting some latches made. I am still interested, thanks for asking.
