This is a discussion thread titled "WOOHOO! TRD sway bar", within the Handling Improvements forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Yes I have and it is absolutely wonderful. I got it 6pm on friday and by 730pm i was ready for some corners. dont get me wrong. i know im not driving a vette with its cornering ability. but for a truck...its niiiiice. plus i like the fact you can see the red from the back end. i no longer have to slow down for the ramps...or at least get thrown around.
Has the on road ride changed in anyway at all... any firmer over small or big bumps?
...Glenn
sigh...you know i really couldnt tell ya. i love the way this thing rides already...if i hit a bump in the road and felt horrible i would prolly be like....damn someone needs to fix the holes in the road. hahaha...but i think it feels about the same. if anything it is a bit firmer.
Dollar for Dollar I believe this is the best mod you can do on the truck. I've noticed no ride changes.

I pull a heavy travel trailer and I am interested in the sway bar to reduce the tail wagging that sometimes occurs during strong winds. Can anyone comment about the effects of the bar on suspension sag? Do they reduce the sag at all? Would heavy loads damage the swaybar(over torque it)?
