Handling ImprovementsTechnical discussions regarding sport suspensions, performance sway bars, shock absorbers, lowering kits and handling improvement systems.
This is a discussion thread titled "Hellwig anti sway bar", within the Handling Improvements forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I bought mine online from summit racing a few months ago. Shipped quick (arrived within 1 week of ordering) and had all the parts in the box. I would recommend summit racing.
Can anybody recommend a reliable store (or online) to pick up a Hellwig anti sway bar for a good price?
Thanks
There are a dozen advertisers on this site that sell them. Just go to the main forum page, click on a banner ad. Such as the HELLWIG banner...

hi, NEVER ENOUGH AUTO.
they have the new stock.
which means you will NOT be missing any hardware parts.
i got mine, everything was there.
this by far was the BEST investment for handeling.
if you read 1 of my posts,it tells a story about why i swear by it.
it 's about the shadow cast under the overpass, while i was on the highway.
it would and should convince you it is a GREAT proctuct.
there was a 5 gallon pail in the middle lane.
i didn't see it until i was almost on top of it, due to the darkness shadow.
i had to swurve so hard and than swurve back.
the truck stayed flat, & TOTALLY UNDER CONTROL.
no body roll in front or rear, the truck handeled like a BMW or AUDI.
i know it was due the the HELLWIG rear anti sway bar, that keep my truck so incediabley under control.
the HELLWIG PRODUCT saved not only my truck from crashing, but my life!
i can't stress enough how great this product is.
i will own a HELLWIG, if they make it for any & all vehicle's i own till the day i stop driving.
and
i will have 1 on every vehicle my kids drive.

There has been a post from Hellwig that they are working on a set of bars for the the 01-06 tundras. Seems like a set (front and Back) would be better. I have a Hellwig rear bar on my 06 and a agree that it is a great addition to the truck, if only for saftey.

I was lucky enough to be one of the beta testers for the the new front and rear bars. I just got back in town, they came in while I was gone and are going on the truck this week. So, look for my post on the install and ride quality coming soon...
I am very excited, they look awesome in the box and are quite a bit beefier than the stock on the front. The rear is adjustable....
We will have a group buy in July when the bars are ready for production. We are having some Tundra Solutions members give us feedback on the kits so that we can make them as user friendly as possible when we release them to production.
