Handling ImprovementsTechnical discussions regarding sport suspensions, performance sway bars, shock absorbers, lowering kits and handling improvement systems.
This is a discussion thread titled "Does the Hellwig Sway Bar require any drilling to install?", within the Handling Improvements forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
No drilling. Just pre-assembly on the floor under the truck and pay close attention to where the clamps over the axle go.
Use hand tools and a buddy's hand might be helpful. I did it by myself.
FYI - see my sig for a link to a Hellwig How-To guide I created...
Seee-ya!
Jim.

I was on the last group buy, didn't have any issues with the hardware as others have, so some issues are hit and miss. Only complaint is with the paint job on the bar, a little sloppy, but then again, I don't hang out under the truck to notice the imperfections.. Only addition to Tremo's instructions is that after the break in period I got some flat black spray paint and covered the bolt and washer on the rails because the chrome stood out next to the underbody paint. well worth the money, higly recomended..
