To the best of my knowledge, no. I have had one on my truck for 3 years now and love it! I tow a 4,800 lb, 26' travel trailer and the bar helps keep everthing under control. Even when I'm not towing, the truck handles so much better then without one. I have the end-links installed upside down (bolt head near the ground, threads up near the bed) so that it is a five minute job to disconnect them when I go 4-wheelin'. The bar stays attached, I just remove the end-links.
Probably the single best mod for the $$.

Just wonder that given the extra weight (400 lbs?) and length of the Doublecab if the currently available Hellwig bar will be as effective as it is on the lighter Access and Regular Cab models???
The Hellwig anti-sway bar is very stout, I have no doubt that it will work as well on the doublecab.

Installed mine a few months ago(P/N 7641).
Couldn't be happier with the increased handling control. I know that before I added it my truck felt a little loose handling wise, especially when taking long curves on mountain roads. Now, what a difference! Once I find my line on a curve, it is not a chore to maintain it. Also taking corners are no longer something I have to consciously think about. I noticed right away when I test drove the truck that if you took a corner any faster than grandma pace, the truck wanted to throw out its' rear end. Now I don't even think about it anymore. No doubt this is one of the most cost effective mods around!

I just installed my Hellwig Sway-Bar tonight. I have one word to describe it. YOWZA!!!
I started the install in my garage about 8 or 8:30 pm, turned on the Astros game and went to work. Finished up about 9:45 as the Astros were violating the Braves. Go 'Stros!
Took it for a test drive and could not believe the difference. It was like driving a ZO6 Corvette compared to what it used to be. It does'nt wallow when i go over bumps anymore, and when i turn corners it just straigtens back up instead of waddleing side to side. Its friggin' awsome. Best $100 and 2 hours i have spent on my truck.
$100 you ask? I got a great deal from another member who bought one in the group buy, but never installed it. Sweet.
Oh, and i painted it "Flash Red" (a Mitsubishi color) with DuPont ChromaBase, and DuPont Clear. I'll take pictures ASAP.
Lates.
*Nothing can completely render a warranty void. Installing an aftermarket part will result in any damage caused by that part being your responsibility, not Toyota's under their warranty. The antisway bar cannot damage anything under our trucks that I can imagine.

I'd add, if you're planning an RCD 6" and it's not just for show... meaning that you will take it off road, I would suggest some kind of quick-release mechanism... you'll get next to no articulation with the bar in place. I was surprised how often my ABS kicked in when going down a relatively tame hill that was heavily rutted.

Had the same experience last night rlockyear, old fire road I was coming down, not even steeo...I wish it werent so darn sensitive...does the helwig help this at all, my decreasing wheel hop or is it sensitive ABS I get to live with?
Sensitive ABS. I've only triggered it when two wheels got onto ice and going down this hill. Anything that's going to reduce the speed of one wheel not accounted for by a turn is going to do it.
I just have a feeling that we've been slipping our tires more than we really thought on dirt roads. The Hellwig will most certainly not reduce the ABS sensitivity.
