Default Re: Hellwig sway bar

My Tundra has been thunking a bit lately so I decided to check the sway bar for tightness. One of the end links was really loose and I couldn't get the deformed thread lock nut to turn on any tighter. I really didn't want to twist the long bolt off so I removed the bad nut and it was pretty well hosed. I had to dig out my tap and die set and rethreaded the shaft. I ended up putting a nylon insert lock nut on it, but wish I could have used a more permanent one. I guess I could have locked the threads with loctite, but it's easy to check it now and then inside the wheelwells.
