Here's another tutorial. Overall, the Hellwig kit is alright. I think the end links were about 1/4" too long for my truck. My theory is that Hellwig had to put in end links that would work for different wheel/tire combinations as well as 4-wheel drive. Overall, the kit goes on fairly easily, but I spent a lot of time trying to get the bar ends parallel with the ground without any luck. I'll probably cut the end links down (or try to get the Addco units) in the future.
Shall36, very well documented tutorial on the Hellwig install! Thank you, sir. Maybe you can give Hellwig permission to include your guide in future product shipments. Installed mine last night before finding your post. One question, in the last pick of the PDF, how did you manage to keep the top washer from succumbing to forces of gravity I don't understand the purpose of the two "inside" washers on the end link. It would seem the top inner washer would just fall down, while the bottom inner washer just sits there.
Extremely satisfied with performance of the Hellwig anti-sway bar Backing out of the driveway my 06 Tundra DC felt straighter, of course i thought it was all in my head... all doubts soon disappeared as the Tundra definately tracks better on straight-aways, but the real benefit is in corners where turn-in is crisper with noticeably less understeer.. for those of you still on the fence, this is definately a worthy mod... other intake/header/exhaust bolt-ons (on previous vehicles) never put a smile on my face quite like cornering in the Tundra after installing the Hellwig. Happy motoring all, have fun and be safe. Thanks to Shall36, Tremo, and countless other TS posters for sharing their valuable experience on all issues Tundra-related
I'm not sure I'll get around to installing one myself, but just wanted to give you some recognition. That is one of the best set of instructions, I've read on any kind of installation.

Nice write up on the swaybar installation, Shall36. You should send that PDF file to Hellwig, if you haven't already.
I finally put one on my 02 Access Cab after 5+ years now. I am pretty impressed with the reduced body roll on the rear of my rig after getting out on the Interstate and hitting the curves. Now it doesn't drive like my old spring over FJ60 on the corners.
The only modification I did to the overall install was sawzall the u-bolts down. They were ridculously long. The axle perch mounts for the bushing and straps are pretty weak looking, but we'll see if they last before making something new to replace them.
Bought mine from SUMMIT. It was $197 for the bar and shipping. Apparently, they have continued raising the price on these to account for the increasing material costs in the steel industry, or something......
Great write-up, but I have one question. On page 2, you say "As you can see in picture 2, the Energy Suspension mounting bracket is absolutely wimpy compared to the energy suspension bracket."
Did you mean to say "As you can see in picture 2, the Energy Suspension mounting bracket is absolutely wimpy compared to the Hellwig bracket."?
I just installed the Helwig on my truck. The end link has been changed from the one pictured in this write up. I will take a picture of it when I get a chance.
