B.I. locals, got question for you. . .

So I am thinking about moving to B.I. in the fall for work. I've been there a couple times before. Last time I was there was in April. Big question is, where do all the locals go for nightlife?

I know it not like Oahu or Maui, but I only know of places on main drag, like lulu's and dirty jakes, etc. It still seems pretty touristy. I will be stuck on north kona side; I know more places in Hilo, but not likely that I will get to go over to the windward side too much. Any good local places to chill, have a few good brews and talk story with local girlz? BTW, I am not haole so hopefully her bro will not kill me but you never know about the psycho ex-bf!

I don't live on the Kona side, but I have heard that Rockstars is a nice little bar. If you stick to the main strip on Ali'i drive then you really can't go wrong. Lots of action downthere. There are other places, but I forgot the names already. I'll ask some of my friends and see what they suggest,
