I went there once and I saw that show North Shore. Does that count?
But really, My aunt, Uncle, and cousins live on the big Island. My uncle is from Ireland, and my cousins were born over there. They are all grown up now at least in their 20's, but it gives me a place to crash at when ever I want to go visit. Also I have a vehicle to drive so all I need to pay for is the plane ticket. That would explain why I have been there only ONCE in my 27 years.

My Aunt and Uncle visit there quite often and ended up buying land about 2 years ago on the Big Island(south end). He designed his home and got it all approved earlier this year. Just talk to him the other day and he's got the cement slab done and almost done with the framework. Next are the trusses. Anyways, I'll be heading out there soon after the house his done. My Uncle is also a TS member. 2001 Thunder gray tundra access cab 4x4. I installed his Teamwest Sway Aways. He rarely visits the site.
Aloha from the Garden Island....Kaua'i! My grandfather came in 1942 and stayed until his passing in Dec. 2004 at the age of 89! I don't know about the other islands.....but Toyota's seem to be the majority of trucks on the road here, followed by Dodge....
It'd be good to get a sub-forum....sometimes the issues here are *slightly* different than those on the mainland....
It would be cool if we could get a sub-forum going. ( kauaigs), I was just on kauai thursday, just cruising for the day. I lived there for about three years, for work purposes, I built the new police station in Lihue and some other projects. Also noticed alot of toy's while I was there, same here on maui, there's some nice toy's here also, lifted, slammed etc... I was born and raised on Maui and work in the construction trades. It would be cool if the ferry ships was running so we could have a TS meet. until then, keep it real !
Aloha

I lived on Maui for 7 years before moving to Kaua'i.......Haiku. Haven't been back for a while.....yeah, if that ferry gets going - easy time between islands. Inter-island Airfare is outta control these days....

sup kama'ainaz, a honolulu TS memba stay checkin in. one silva stepside, cuzn she go. "cheee-heeeee"
nah, howzit hawaii TS members. as a matter of fact we do have alot of ts members here in "da islands". the reson is probably due to the fact that servco pacific sells more tacos, tundras, and 4-runners, than all of the other toyota models combine! it almost seems that 1 out of every 10-15 cars is a toy truck.
good thread starter. maybe someone will organize a Hawaii TS chapter.

I am going to Kuaui (I think thats how you spell it) on 9-4-05 for a week.
Anybody on TS From there.
Pakalas is one TS member I know of from Kaua'i. There are a bunch of Firefighters that frequent TS on the island of Oahu, and there a bunch of Tundras at my station. I have a '00 4X4 Acc, there's 2 '01 4X2 Acc, an '02 4X2 Acc, an '04 4X2 Acc, an '04 4X2 Dbl, and a '04-'05 4X4 Dbl with Tuff Country lift all at my station. There's also a whole lot of older Toyota's at our station as well. I plan on keeping my Tundra for at least 4 more years then hopefully get some kind of Diesel truck, preferably a toyota.
Howzit going! My parents are from Kona. You local or a transplant? Me born and raised on Oahu but had good times in Kona in my youth.
i'm born and raised in hilo and just moved to kona about a year and a half ago for my job, loving the weather and the job, but the housing prices and stuff.....aloha!!!

Especially if/when that ferry actually happens. I vote for a meet on Kaua'i at Polihale. Camp and fish, and would be easy to just stay in my bed tent.
