Default Got me a Corolla

Just bought me a 06 Corolla LE demo on Sunday at TC. It had only 721 miles on it so they had to sell it as a demo. I know the sales manager there so got a discount and since I'm a vendor for Servco I had a deal. nothing fancy just good gas mileage since i have to go to waipio to open shop. my tundra stays in the garage but have to take the grandson to sitters so i drive it everyday and on saturdays take it to work. lucky sitter is about 2 miles from home. don't know the gas mileage yet as i just got the tank full. hope at least 31-35 miles a gallon. should be about a gallon one way to work. can't compare the ride with my tundra but with the gas prices had to do something.

What happened to the Mazda?? I just picked up a used RAV4 for the wife. I've been driving it recently and the gas mileage is way better than my Tundra or 4Runner. Are you going to mod the Corolla? Not much of a ric.. import tuner but there are a lot of nice things for the Corolla. I had a 03 Matrix XRS which I sold for my Tundra. The Matrix 17's wheels fit on the Corolla. Good luck with your new "Toy"

Told the wife that the Mazda could not last too long with the everyday drive to work. I had it new so had my moneys worth. Guess it was going to give some problems one after another so decided to get a new one. I liked the Mazda tho, no problems but lately started to drop oil on the ground. changed the valve cover gasket but i think it is the front seal. the struts also had to be changed with 160,000 miles (original struts). well happy with the corolla. cheap on gas. i bring the tundra to work only on saturdays so if you in the area stop by.
