Question Possibly starting a Hawaii Tundra Crew?

Howzit going guys? Long time no talk to all you bruddahs on here. Well since my schedule at work changed to mon-fri, I got the weekends free now and have decided to work on a binder or scrapbook of some sort of our trucks and the passion that most if not all of us on here have for it. I would like to gather some photos and some basic information of whoever would be interested in being in this project. Now I'm not looking for private info that you folks of course would not be willing to disclose; primarily what I'm looking for is your name and/or your TS name, year and model of Tundra you drive, and list of mods that have been done. You know, just stuff like that.

From the 1st tundra meet that we had earlier this year, I personally feel that we have an awesome bunch of folks on this forum and that hopefully we can all come together and share our experiences with one another about stuff like products they have tried, mods, or shops to check out or stay away from.

Now if there is some interest, and that there are enough people that join in on this project, then hopefully I can go to Kinko's or something and make all the participants a copy of the binder maybe when we all come together for another TS truck cruise/meet or just a casual weekend pa'ina.

As we speak, I am currently already working on the project and I have included a sample of my work in progress. Let me know what you think! Suggestions would be helpful and appreciated for this project to follow through to fruition. Oh and anyone skilled in graphics design by all means communicate with me and maybe we can work out a killer design or logo that could possibly turn into a decal for all who participate .

Without further adieu, here's what I got so far...enjoy!

This was made using microsoft publisher since I don't have photoshop and not good at using it. Throw me a bone guys alright, I'm a cook for crying out loud

Howzit Kaleo, Just read this post and I would be stoked to be a part of this. How's it coming along? BTW, I do signs and graphics, including decals. So if this were to take place, I'm the guy for the club to print the decals. Shoots, let me know.. Joe

howzit Joe,
so you do graphics huh? sweeeeeeeeeeet
I figured this thread just died and faded away into obscurity after not much replies, but as for the crew thing I guess nobody really showed interest because either they don't really care to or as I have spoken to other local TS'ers here, they don't come on here anymore. For myself, I started a binder and started to list the things that I did to my truck, and I placed a section for other people that would be interested in joining and they can list their goodies as well.

I agree, it would be awesome to have a crew here esp. with the new tundra out and all that jazz. Maybe we can organize another tundra meet here sometime this year again, then we can talk about forming a crew.

Yeah, this forum doesn't seem to be very active. My 07 CMax limited 5.7 is on back order and won't arrive till October or November. It frickin sucks to have to wait that long bro. On the upside, it'll give me some time to sell my SUV, so I guess it's all good. I don't plan to do extensive mods to it besides the usual exhaust / intake combo, 5% tint, debadge it and possibly upgrade the sounds if the stock JBL speakers ain't cutting it. Believe it or not, I kinda like the look of it stock, especially with the oem 20" alloys on. I really enjoyed the stock feel compared to riding in an SUV dropped with 24's (sucks!). Nothing too crazy for me. I spocked out some Tunnies on the main forums with the 3" lift with 20's and I must say, it looks pretty sick. Since I'm only getting a 4x2, don't know if it's worth doing all that. There's not much places on Oahu to use 4x4 anyways so the whole lift setup would be strictly show for me.

What's up vish!

As far as I know, a majority of the hawaii members on here either don't really log onto TS anymore, or just lurk. Last year we had a truck cruise that was organized by fellow member mho who owns Hawaii Truck Concepts in Waipio. It was a nice humble start, though I would like to see another truck cruise happen again.

It would be great to meet and greet the new local members and see some of the long timers on here as well. Let's try and get something together???

Thumbs up Re: Possibly starting a Hawaii Tundra Crew?

With 7 members counted so far as a go, maybe we SHOULD put something together then what do you guys think? Any big holidays coming up where a majority; if not all of you would have off??? I work in the restaurant business so I lost track of holidays since there are no holidays for being a cook! *go figure*
I remember last year on memorial day, those of us interested met up at fellow member mho's shop Hawaii Truck Concepts in Waipio Gentry, then proceeded to cruise our way back into town through waikiki and end up in Hawaii Kai. Any ideas where we should meet?

Oh I also remember that one of us here is a graphics designer, how's about a sticker design??? just a thought thrown out there. I see that island titan truck club all around town, maybe we can have our own. Maybe something like Hawaii Tundra Concepts or Hawaii Toyota Concepts to include the tacoma's too hehe!

I'd really like to meet my fellow local TS members and get to see their shiny new Tundras. Let's get this thing going...
