Talking Tundra's got some new shoes

Got them yesterday! 22" KMC Dimes on Hankook Ventus 285/35/22 Black w/Chrome lip. The only thing that I would like to change would be to put a bit more meatier tire on top. As for ride quality, not that much different from stock, but of course I can feel the road a bit more meaning every hole, rock, dip, and speed bump; but I love it. Now that's left is to finish the stereo and i'm done!!!

I would like to try out the sos 1.5/3" drop so I can park my truck in the parking structure at work but my father says leave it, and my gf wants it lifted. Though I think i'm just going to go and drop it just a tad eventually, nothing drastic.

That would look sweet if you just drop the back so it sits level, if you only want a little bit. But yeah, I like the color of the wheels, is that black or a dark charcoal?

Leveling out the rear would also be a good choice too...good call thunda as for the wheels, they are painted black. I finished washing the truck today so here's a better view.

Very Nice! Looks like you need a Big Brake Upgrade to go with those new shoes.

Yeah! nice and shiny! Like Mauka said, you can always go for the "Big Brake" kit, but if not, try painting the calipers either gloss black to match the wheels, or the blue body color would look sweet also!! Anyway'z nice job!!

Yea, next on the list is the rear disc brake conversion. Fellow local TS member mho can get one for the DC. He installed it on his and showed it to me; looks pretty good and he said he can get it for $1600 and I find someone to install it. The big brake kit would be awesome, but right now it's a bit too steep in price, even with that so called "sale" they got on the website.

Painting the calipers would indeed look pretty cool. Since I'm new to all this stuff, is it an easy process or do I need a professional to do it? I see the cans of caliper paint at walmart and what not, so I'm guessing it shouldn't be that hard right?

kaleo, painting the calipers is easy, you either have a choice of spray can or brush on. You can get both at Walmart, and if not you can get them at any auto parts store. The only difference is how you apply it, meaning if you choose the srpay, you would want to take off the caliper and spray it somewhere else so you won't get oversrpay all over your truck, plus since you've disconnected the brake lines, you will have to bleed the brake system. If you use the kit that brushes on, all you have to do is take the tire off and brush on the paint (alot easier if you don't want to take the calipers off the truck). The brush on kit comes with everything you need all in one box, the brush, cleaner, and paint. Hope this helps anyway'z
