I am not sure if I (we) understand what you are talking about. Please describe in more detail. Why would you not have a cover that fits the Highlander seat configuration? Is your cover OEM? Sorry for sounding confused, but I would like to help if I can.

I got the same problem! Bought it on E-Bay and didn't realize they make the highlanders with a different 60/40 split opposite of what we bought. For those that are confused...the rear seat is split 60/40 with the 60% piece being on the driver's side and 40% on passenger side. However, the cargo covers we have are 40% driver's side and 60% passenger side.

I didn't try changing it, I just added 2 little wood wood dowels (painted to match) to the cargo cover using zip ties and the dowels then clip into the seats perfectly. Works great.

I'll keep watching this post to see if anyone has a solution to switching it. Either way, paying $99 instead of $500 is definitely worth it.

I also very confused....$99 vs $500... what are we talking about here?????

Are we talking Non-OE Cargo Mat????????????????

This one sure beats me.
Whatever the issue, possibly we are talking a second row seat config. that is different for the MY 01-03 vs the MY 04 -07.(with the Third row option or not???????????????????????

From what I believe, Right hand drive HL's (Japan and Australia) do reverse the seating areas including the 60/40 to 40/60 split in second row. Yu might have gotten a Right hand Drive specific cargo mat..... if yu got it from ebay, I believe this to be true.

Not vey clear on this.
I have not seen a cargo mat (if this is the subject here) that splits at the second row for the 60-40 split. One up and one side down position.

I figured what we got was from Japan due to the reversal. Not talking cargo mat but the retractable cover over the cargo area (and yes, I have 3rd row seating). I don't think it can be reversed because the parts that extend from the unit to the back of the seats is curved at each end.

I understand now. The cargo cover where it snapps into the 2nd row in two separate places is reversed. 60-40 versus 40-60!

Yeah ,yu have a Right hand drive cargo cover for sure. It's for a Japan/Australian domestic HL.
