Default In Dash DVD question for everyone

Hi everyone. I would like to install a fixed in dash DVD player in my dash in my 05 Highlander and was wondering if someone can tell me how big the opening is? This will help me with my search.

Thanks in advance and have a great Thanksgiving!!!!

Crutchfield says this model fits the 2005 -- so just go look up the dimensions and you should have it???

You can fit a double-din sized head unit in fine. That is the standard large size. Unfortunately, the Highlander opening is a little wider than that standard, so you'll need to buy a mounting kit which will have spacers to cover about 3/8" on each side. Crutchfield will provide this if you buy from them, or you can get it installed anywhere and they'll have it, the size is a standard across quite a few toyota vehicles.

I believe he wants to sell his HL.

Probably doesn't want to complete the LED project.

He put the brakes on it.

Hey, sorry for the delay in responding. My wife and I just finished moving BACK to Northern VA today. Long story, but glad to be back home.

I never got around to doing the LED mod. I would still like to, however, I may be selling the HL (Although I don't want to).

I still have the LED tail lamp though. Once life gets back on track, I will see if I can get this mod done.

Again, sorry for the delay on this and in responding.

Hope everyone is doing well.
