Thanx ....that was a nice.

It really is easy once yu do it once or see it done by someone else. So a video is the best teacher.

Do-It-Yourself Re: Rear Window Wiper

I replaced mine today04 HL Ltd rear wiper blade with a Walmart trico $2 refill. They come in two widths the regular wide for US cars and the skinny one for most Asian imports. I used the skinny one same width as for the windshield insert replacements. Remove plastic cap at base so wiper arm will stay our when lifted. Notice carefully how insert is mounted to put new one back in the same groove. Bow out and slide old insert out. Remove and save thin metal strips, one each side. Remove metal strips from new longer insert and cut to length of old insert. Place old metal inserts in track of new blade and slide back in arm/blade same way it came out. Time will tell how it holds up, proof is in the pudding. $2

The price is right.
I tried Wally world ...but I was unable to find the narrow profile rubbers here in NY. I tried other alternatives ...cut to fit etc...but the metal tension strips did not fit the arm when installing.

I had to spend the $3 and change and a trip to the dealer for the OE one.
