How do you change the rear window wiper blade on a 2007 Highlander? It looks like you can only change the rubber blade and not the assembly like the front window wipers. I have even gone to the auto center and they do not list a replacement blade.
The whole blade is replaced, but you have to get it from the dealer. It's an interesting arrangment and a little different then replacing a front wiper, but once you see how it was done it wasn't hard to do. If your dealership parts guys or service manager are nice enough they may even show you how it's done.

yu pop off the bolt cover plastic cap ,then pull back the arm and slide out the blade. It is dealer only blade. DON'T bother going to an auto parts store!!!!!
The dealer get only about $5 for it. It is not any big deal.
Nothing else will work. I would buy two. One for spare next time.

i got mine at the dealer and only lasted one season, i cost me $25 for the plastic insert. i'm not goin gto change it again, a ripoff price
What exact part did yu say cost $25?? Not the blade... Maybe the whole arm?
Was it the small end bolt cap ?? Hope not! This small piece should not be $25!! Ouch!!
The small bolt endcap may be tricky to come off. Once yu see how it snaps in place it it won't break when yu take it off next time. The instructions in the service manual say it must come out to replace the blade insert. The blades arm retracts out further with the end cap removed. But that might not be truly necessary?
But I will say that over time the end cap gets very brittle due to UV sun fade and all. Even in the Lexus RX330-350's this happens. Poor quality materials!

I don't recall the actual price I paid, but I know it wasn't even close to $25.00. Was that an installed price? Knowing the labor rates, that sounds like an installed in the shop price and not just the blade.

I bought the actual blade only, for $4.00 from dealer.
All I did was flex the end of the old blade so I could slide it out, then took out the 2 metal inserts from the old blade, reinstalled them in the new blade and slid the new blade back in, very easy.

Exactly... it doesn't get any more easier than that.
And like I said earlier, it isn't more than $5.
Shop labor rate would be approx. $25. (and just not necessary)
Do it yourself. It is cheap enough to buy a second spare to have on hand. They wear out fast for some reason. Whether yu use them or not... they dry out and get beat up on the rear of this HL and other SUV's.
