does anyone know how to aim 2005 Highlander foglights ?

does anyone know how to aim 2005 Highlander foglights ?

I need to re-aim my foglights,

I can see the aiming screw at the back of each housing but

don't know what they do,

if I turn it will it adjust up-down or right-left ?

Don't be afraid to try and see what yu get by turning adjusters left or right. Go 1/4 turn at a time either direction. Then check. My guess is that they adjust Left-Right...because they are Fog Lamps that give short yet peripheral (side to side) Vision.

Tip:Yu must block off light emitting from the other Fog lamp that yu are not adjusting ...so your adjustments will be more evident on the Lamp that yu are working on.

There is a procedure that will get it Factory close. Google it. It is a DOT spec. procedure. Yu need this to do it right.

Just fiddling by eye is not really effective.
