Default question regarding connections OEM JBL 6 disc radio

HI guys,

this should be easy for most of you guys but I have very limited knowledge of the connectors behind the
OEM JBL 6 disc radio

I found this pic (back of Highlander JBL head unit)
on the internet:

Image Sheet

I'm planning to swap out the OEM with an aftermarket unit using the Metra TYTO-01 harness so I can keep the OEM JBL amp and factory speakers,

question is looking at the picture on the far right, there are two black thick cables , I know one of them is the cable for the antenna but which one is it (top or bottom), and also what is the other cable for ?

second question is the connector with only two wires coming out of it , is this for steering wheel controls ?

thanks in advance. much appreciated.

top looks like antenna to me, bottom looks like either maybe cd changer or steering wheel control plug

I'll look online

I think I know why there are two antenna connections as shown in the image,

the larger one is just a regular FM/AM antenna and
the other smaller one is for RDS info from regular ground based FM radio

see here: Radio Data System - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

when you press the "text" button on certian FM stations with RDS
you can see the artists and song

see here: JBL 6 disc changer/RDS display info on radio/Cassette pictures from cars photos on webshots

also, this is the smaller antenna connector you will see if you take out the OEM JBL head unit

see here: Alpine KAE-350FM (kae350fm) , Car Installation & Accessories, Mobile Video Installation - Sonic Electronix

most aftermarket head units only have just the larger regular FM/AM antenna, no smaller RDS connector, so if you don't use RDS often no big deal,

but if like RDS from ground based radio stations, you'll need to find a head unit with RDS or go to SAT radio, they always have artist and songs.
