Here we go again.
No, the Tornado nor any other cheap "bolt on" asscessories will improve mileage. If fact, this month Consumer Reports specifically mentioned the Tornado as a waste of money.
All a man really needs for happiness in this world is a good woman, a faithful dog, and a big-a$$ed set of tires on his truck.

Re: Has anyone tried anything like the Tornado / Cyclone fuel saver
It really is an expensive piece of garbage for such a cheap grade low in quality product.
Originally, In theory it would be correct to use this product in a carburated engine at the top intake of the carb. This is what this product originally was designed for .
The company has since made versions for EFI engines...as all engines are EFI today.
It simply DOES NOT work....especially in an EFI design.
Re: Has anyone tried anything like the Tornado / Cyclone fuel saver
It was mentioned but Consumer Reports did a study on it.... Its Crap.
I have heard TRD is making or already has made a CAI out for Highlanders. If your looking for an easy bolt on to get more MPG and HP that might be worth a try.
Re: Has anyone tried anything like the Tornado / Cyclone fuel saver
Something else that might be worth "looking" into for a 1-2 HP gain is an throttle body air foil. This is quite a stretch but the IAC on some engines create a void where air gets caught with alot of turbulance. I've only heard of air foils working on engines that use blowers but with gas over $4 even a little gain in effecicency is worth looking into. I have never tried it though on any of my cars.
