Question How to drive with "S" ? 05 ` HighLander

Hi room,

wass up ?
I have owned a 05`Highlander.

I usually like to drive with "D". But there is a option to drive with "S" & I can controll it from my steering with up-down button.

it has four gear. should i change them my self or they will change automatically ?

can i drive always with "S" ?
My highlander is : 2.4S four

pls help me. plsss..im very new here..

Most of the people on this forum are from the US, and I don't think we got the "S" or sport version with the 2.4 liter engine here.

It shouldn't be too hard to figure out if it's shifting into fourth in the "s" mode. Otherwise just leave it in "d".

You might want to try an Austrailian forum, where the Highlander is called the Kluger. Perhaps they can help? Also, is the forward mounted sideview mirror standard in Bangladesh? I had only seen those as common in Japan...

& yea...sideview mirror is standard in Bangladesh.

& u r right...Highlander is known as Kluger in Bangladesh. I will try an Australian forum...

wow lol its called SLAPSTICK, it just like a stick shift but you dont have a clutch you shift when you hit higher rpms, it hard on the trani. so i only use it to down shift while comedown a hill or somthing
