Default Went in for warranty repair -- Overfilled!!!

I went in for some warranty repair work at my local dealership last week and the PS reservior and transmission pan was overfilled.

I went in for the gear hunting and downshift issue and they told me everything is fine with no latent codes (whatever that meant). Anyway, the problem is documented in the dealership that I am scared of the tranny.

Anyway, the dealership experience was much better than I expected.

My tires are cupped and that was resulting is a whirring/whining sound and now I need new tires all around. Will wait for the $60 rebate from Costco (should come out later this year) and will settle for Michellin/Bridgestone tires..

Ok, so has getting the correct fill in the tranny stopped the issue, or was it intermittent so we'll need to give it some time?

But more importantly, what's this about a rebate on tires? Sams already had one earlier this summer on Michelin, will there be another?

Overfilling is quite disturbing becoz I go to all lengths to keep the fluids betweeen the H and L markers. The tranny behavior is the same with no changes.

Costco is really big in CA just as Sams in other parts of the country. Costco runs these rebates in summer and year end... I must have missed on the summer rebate, I have to wait it out till year end for the rebates to come back.
