Subwoofer for 04 highlander

I want to add a subwoofer to my 04 highlander, but do not want to sacrifice the cargo space in the back. Any suggestions on what i should install and where i should install it??

Well for my highlander i put the amps under the front passenger seat and it doesn't show at all. and then for the sub itself i have two different ones that i made. i have one 10" that fits on the side (between the wheel well and the tail light access door) of the trunk facing a bit up and towards the gate. the second one is 12" that fits in the middle of the trunk (which i use when im not gonna carry anything) and takes up about a cubic foot and a half / a squarefoot foot print of floor space. they both work well.

when putting the sub off to the side i found it a bit harder to find the sweet spot. but it wassent that hard to do.

Use a small sealed box will be the most cost effective way... and still enjoy plenty of useful space. (Alpine 12" Subwoofer in SubZero Sealed Box shown)



For the amp, same as DNytAftr, install it under the passenger seat. It looks clean.
