Default Dead Pedal Removal
I have an 03 highlander and I would like to remove the dead pedal from the floor carpet for cleaning. I tried pulling and prying but can't seem to get the thing off. Anyone fimiliar with removal?

Well I finally figured how to remove the dead pedal. You have to pull it straight out. It takes a bit of force. There's two square pins on the backside of the pedal. I am now able to clean away 5 years of grime.
