Default Water leak at passenger side when turning left w/ AC on

Yeah, that's a long subject line but I couldn't think of a better way of putting it.

When making a medium to hard left turn (with the A/C turn on), I heard something that sounded like a low-toned sizzling noise from the passenger side footwell area. It only seems to do it when making left turns with the A/C turned on. I can still remember zipping around an open parking at night making hard left and right turns trying to reproduce the sound.

I had a friend drive while I sat in the passenger side so I could put my ear close to the noise. When turning left, the noise comes from below and behind the glovebox area AND water drips down on my feet from the top left side of the dash.

Any clue what this is??

I did a search and only found two threads, one concerning a bad weld in the rear hatch area and the other about a leak in the passenger side footwell. The latter had only one reply which referred to a hose that routes through the firewall where the carpet meets the firewall. I pulled back the carpet and found a clear hose but it appears to be routed from the windsheild washer resevoir to the rear wiper, so that's not the one. It was wet under there but there was no apparent traceable source of the path the water was leaking (I was looking for water stains or markings).

Please help!!

I assume it's condensation from the AC. There should be a tube that is supposed to take that water to the ground below the vehicle. Maybe that's clogged?

When you run your ac, then park your car there should be a puddle of water underneath the passenger side. Find the hose making the puddle, and see if you can trace that to under the dash. Or if there is no puddle, that's definitely the problem.

Hopefully someone can do better than me, but this is where I would start.

I'm assuming I have to remove the glovebox and access the fan unit behind it?

Anyone have a diagram or picture or even just a detailed description of where I can find the drain tube?

go to the firewall under the hood down near the passengers footwell...there will be a condenser drain hose (black) . Touch it and maybe clear it with a soft yet ponted object. This may be clogged and causing the leak.

Run the A/C first to find where this hose is draining from. Much easier to find as stated above.
