Default 2008 Highlander Width (w/ Mirrors)

My wife and I are considering purchasing a 2008 Highlander - we love the car. We need to know the width of the car w/ side mirrors? I've been able to find the width without. Can anyone measure theirs for me? It would be hugely appreciated. We need to know this car will fit into our garage with little effort.

Default Re: 2008 Highlander Width (w/ Mirrors)

If yu have refered to Toyotas official spec on dimensions.... The width is always measured at it's widest body protrusion. This includes the mirrors.

I have observed this on all my past and currently owned Toyotas. But for personal assurances, I would just go to the Dealer and measure one out for yourself. Or maybe a member can do this for yu . Sorry, I only have an 06 HL.

Best way to measure is to have both front windows open (tape mes. should go through the cabin) ...have a helper hold one end of a tape measure at the extreme edge of the mirror while yu get the other mirrors edge.. compare that to the advertised dimension. See if there is a difference.

A dealer would not mind.
