Trouble installing Toyota RES PT398-48083

I have been installing the toyota RES PT398-48083 that I got from ebay. I pretty had the thing completely in but there is a 12pin connector that doesn't fit the factory harness. I was wondering if anyone here has installed this or could provide any help. The 12 pin connector on the v4 harness is much smaller than the one that's in the car currently, other than this everything else went great. I have emailed the dealer I got it from on ebay and included a picture but he still doesn't have an answer for me.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

This one is a mystery to me. Wish I could help.
I'm sure it is frsutrating. I have installed an RES on an 09 Corolla XLE. I know the harness is different. Yu sure yu haven't missed the correct V4 harnesss?

I'm using the v4 harness that they sent me, it was in what appeared to be a factory toyota box with the starter, the numbers on the outside matched the part number for the hybrid res.

I have been going back and forth with the dealership that I got it from. They're stumped as well. Are there different v4 harnesses?

Something is amiss. Because this RES is installed at port when the vehicles are new.
Some dealers also install these. How could the dealer sell yu a wrong part AND not admit it or even figure it out.
A square does not fit into a peg!

exactly!!!!
He figured out the problem, he sent me the wrong instructions! He sent me the 2008 highlander with smart key but I needed the hybrid instructions.
The 2 12p connectors on the v4 harness simply plug into each other and you use vampire taps on 2 wires instead.
Now I just need to bring it in for the dealer to register the remotes.
Any idea on how much that'll be?
