Default TRANS FLUID dipstick level marks

Is it me or are the Toyota highlander ( I have an o4 2 wd v6) transmission fluid level marks on the dipstick very very close together- the marks indicating low level and high level. For both the cool and hot situation, they look like only 1/8 inch or so apart. Other cars I have owned have a little more room between low level and high level. Hard to get the level right/ what technically causes this?

Getting the level accurate is a myth, put the vehicle in drive (with some behind the wheel) and check level.

If it is above H is fine, below L add and move on. Accuracy is nonsense, I always overfill my trannies and nothing ever happened!!!

After moving shifter through all detents, level is checked in park or neutral, hot, with vehicle running, on a level surface.
