Default Highlander Towing

Anyone towing a travel trailer with the 08 Highlander [mine is v6, 4wd]? I am considering getting a brake controller and 7 pin plug installed on mine so I can tow an R-Pod [2300 pounds]. I presently tow with my 07 Tundra but the truck is hard to park in town [double cab, long bed] - or spaces large enough are hard to find. Also, the Highlander "should" get better towing MPGs - the Tundra [5.7] gets 11ish. Of course, the Tundra has lots of room for camping "gear"!!!
Any comments/advice appreciated!!!
Gene
