Default Transmission pan gasket RTV ?

Does the Highlander transmission pan gasket take RTV or a simillar sealant or does it go on dry ?

If you have a gasket, either cork or rubber, put it on "dry". I usually glue the gasket to the pan using some spray glue. Keeps it in place. Also, note that some gaskets will have several smaller holes in the bolt pattern. This is so you can place several bolts through the gasket and they will stay there while you lift the pan to mount it.

Gasket pictures look like rubber
Haynes manual mentions scraping off sealant but nothing about replacment.
I need a Vol. 2 factory bible.
