Default FastLane transponder & 04 Highlander

I tried searching on this...but didnt find anything definative...will the transponder work if installed on the tinted portion of the 04 limited windshield?

also, in the Boston area, who has the better service-shop...lexington, watertown or woburn? any opinions out there? for example, where is it more likely that the lug nuts will get properly torqued? Hunter road-forced balancing?
I have to plan on my first visit in the next few weeks before heading towards Myrtle Beach...hence the transponder!

My Virginia SmarTag works perfectly when positioned there.

I have the Transponder placed in the usual spot right behind the mirror and it's just fine.

Also, I usually go to either Boch or Bernardi in Frmaingham for service on my Toyotas. I found Bernardi to be outstanding in my experiences there!

Good luck!
