ssvette,

I found a decent installation site with parts lists and pictures for all Toyotas.

First, here's the main site for installation manuals for all Toyota vehicles.
http://www.toyotaparts4u.com/installation_manuals.htm

Then, here's the site for the installation of the auto-dimming mirror with compass.
http://www.toyotaparts4u.com/Highlan...e%20Mirror.pdf

The only issue still in question is what does the pillar look like with the curtain airbags in there?

I hope this helps.

I also have a factory installed automatic dimming rear mirror and side airbags. There was no problem getting the two together. However, I felt cheated a little when I diiscovered they dropped the compass from my auto dimming mirror because I also ordered the navigation system. When the car's moving, the nav system tells me what direction I'm heading, but when I'm standing still there is no way to tell what direction I'm facing (when I'm a strange location and the sun's not out.). Seems a little cheap....

Default Auto Dimming rear view mirror (where to purchase)

Hi everyone! I wanted to recommend a place to buy any auto dimming mirrors at a great price! I personally have purchased used and new from this guy and he is great! Never a problem. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions regarding this guy or regarding installation of them.

I have an Infiniti I30 as well as a 2005 Highlander and have installed the auto dim mirror with digital compas in my I30 and am about to purchase a new Auto Dim mirror with digital compas/digital temp guage/ and 2 LED map lights in the Highlander.

If you are interested, please email me and I can get you all of this guy's info and answer your questions.

drmonkey1313@cox.net is my email addy.

Thanks everyone.
