Default what is that highlander i saw today with pretty tailights?

I was driving behind another highlander when i noticed he had tailights alot better looking then mine, it looked like there were many little red leds in the lights similar to an escalade.. Is this a newer year highlander?

Yes, Toyota changed the design of the tail lights and headlights of the 04 and upcomings. They do look nice thou. If I have the money, I would not mind buying a pair just to put in on. The rear back-up lights and turn signal lights also have a darker look to it too.

any idea how much they cost or where to find them?

As for the headlights, the cicles dont look as well defined , i like the old ones better.

The tail-lights in the pic are the future Hybrid Highlander tail-lights (concept). As far as I know, you can't buy them until the hybrid is out and you never know when the hybrid comes out the design may be different again. And the hybrid might not come out until the next generation Highlander.

The '05's have a similar design and that is the price dealer quoted me.

Hey Brklyndriver, where in Brooklyn are you from? I'm originally from East NY - Cypress Hills...

Default Highlander head lights/Tail lights

Hi everyone. I have the 2005 highlander and my buddy has the 2003. Yes the 2005 tail lights are a lot nicer looking than the older ones IMO. (pretty) lol

Can someone please tell me if the headlights on the 2003 and the 2005 models are the same shape and size? I realize that they may have changed the style of them inside the lense, but is the shape and size of the lense the same? I am asking because I purchased Stonguard protection for my 2005 and they sent 2003 model protection. Just curious if it should fit?

Thanks again everyone.

$154.26 (plus tax) for one taillight lens!? Ouch.

Reminds me of the old story about the guy who built a car with parts ordered through a dealership. Buying the parts for a $9,000 cost $120,000.

NUCLEUS: I am a big believer of ebay. I have purchased many diferent things off ebay and have not had any problems.

I have seen the taillights for our Highlander's on there a couple of different times and the prices were much less than what you quoted if you purchased from the dealer.

Check it out.
