Default Navigation Software Upgrade

I just received a mailer for my 2004 Highlander that asked me to set up an appointment to upgrade the software already for the navigation system. Anyone else receive this? Anyone else do this yet?
Thanks!

Default Nav Update

I have a 2004 Highlander Limited with Nav. I also received a letter about the navigation CD update and to schedule an appointment to bring it in. I have not done it yet

Basically you drop by your dealer, and they order you a new DVD. Then in a week or so they call you, and you go in and have it swapped out.

Yep. The whole process probably takes a week or week-and-a-half.

They check your system to ensure that you do need the new DVD and then they order it.

I did notice some corrections that were made to inaccurate data from my initial navigation system.

Old thread, but, I thought they charge yu for all future updates, or was this a TSB because of deficient data on the existing Nav DVD for the 2004's??

Based on complaints maybe???
