HighlanderGeneral discussion forum for the Toyota Highlander and Highlander Hybrid.
This is a discussion thread titled "Noise reduction", within the Highlander forum, part of the SUV Forums category.
Anyone done anything to reduce road noise from getting inside the highlander?
My 04 is not noisy, but its louder than my 94 camry was.
I did a search, got nothing.
Anyone done it?
I have not done it but many places offer an underbody coating that should reduce road noise. It used to be a common add on in the 80's when cars were lots noiser.
Have a look into sound dampening materials that they stuff in your doors as well. Audio electronics stores usually carry them. They have sprays as well.
