Default noobie ?? how to replace tail light

hello. sorry about the noob question, but i was wondering if anyone replaced their tail lights. the lines on one of my rear ones cracked, and i have a new tail light to put it.

i just want to make sure i know what i'm doing. when i popped off the panel to get behind the light, it looks like i have to remove the bulb, remove a few bolts, unplug the light socket and remove the assemble from the outside (how easy is this part).

any help would be appreciated. thanks.
