Default How to change fuel tank sending unit

The fuel gage in my '02 Highlander was acting funny, then went out all together. Who knows how to replace the sending unit in the tank and where it is/how to access it? Thanks.

You should first do some testing to find out if that's really what it is.This vehicle has a main sending unit and a sub-sending unit. Both are accessed by removing the tank.

My fuel gauge came back to life on its own suddenly and works fine now. Thanks.
