Default Fog light bulb change

OK I see the manual says the dealer should change the fog light bulbs in your HH, or Tundra's for that matter.

In looking it over, it looks to me like you have to remove the headlamp assembly to get access to change the fog light bulbs.

Has anyone done this, is this correct?

You should be able to remove and replace the bulb from the back of the assembly. Works on my '01 Tundra. Remove harness connector, unscrew bulb, replace bulb (don't touch the glass with bare hands), screw to lock position, replace harness connector.

Glenn, One would think so, but in the new style bumpers it's closed in on the back side, from the wheel well and from the under side, so there is no where to get your hand in. I believe on both my 03 and 05 Tundra I had to remove the headlamp assembly to get at the back of the fog lamp assembly. I just hate taking the whole HL assembly out to find out there was an easier way that I didn't see. That's also why I believe they say to take it to the dealer for installation, unlike all the other bulbs.
