2003 Highlander Wiring Harness

The Owner's Manual (pg 211) of my 2003 Highlander says my vehicle is equipped with a wire harness stored in the rear end under the body. I found a connector in the black box under the body. It have four flat pins in a rectangular connector--was expecting/hoping to find the four pin flat connector. Is this a connector to the lights? If so, I assume Toyota has a convertor to the 4 pin flat?

I had mine wired a while ago, so I'm just going from a leaky memory.

Yes, there is a connector inside the black box for a pigtail, but there was no converter in my '03 HL. I had my dealer install the converter, charged me $66 converter + $73 labor = $150. I snagged Toyota hitch off ebay for $100 and all works fine now.
