Default Navagation or Not

we are supposed to pick up our new Highalnder Hybrid today. We have one without Navagation system. Should I change it and get a Navagation system? What are the pros and cons

If you plan to travel to new places a lot, its better if you get it. If the difference is not huge, it might be good idea.
But, many portable navigations are coming up in the market with far advanced features. The main advantage of portable navigation is that if you are heading somewhere else for a vacation, you can take it and use it in the rental car !! Thats a huge plus +.
If I had to make the same decision, I would get the factory naviagtion and shall buy a portable one later sometime !!

do you get lost a lot?
Try the wal mart $7 rand mcnally road atlas- worked for years,

Nav systems add cost complexity and dealer profits- thats it

You'll be happy you did... with the Nav you get the energy monitor right in the center of the dash and some other things you don't get wiothout it. Then when you do go to a new place it is great for finding your way around. The wife used hers to get to a museum in Albany she had never been to. It took her right to the front door However, then she got mad because 'she' had to look for a parking place

Enjoy your new vehicle
