Default Navagation System

Just picked up my HiHy Mettalic Blue Limited 4x4 on Monday. It has a navagation system. Is there a CD or way to easily figure this thing out.
Some areas have me confused. I appreciate the help. My 14yr old gets it better than I do. LOL. All help is appreciated. Thanks

It should have come with a manual..... duh...

I think Lisa is looking for some short cuts. None.

Best thing is to sit in the vehicle and with the manual - play with it - and use the kid for technical advise......

Done both, installed backup cam, and updated software. The software part, is just replacing the DVD, but the backup cam is the that easy.

Mine is all aftermarket, there should be a way to get all lexus RX parts into your car(too much work and research for me), or just import it for japan, I was in Tokyo a few months back, and backup cam is an option for the japanese Kluger.

Interesting yu mention the Kluger. I did alot of reading on it.And In Japan it's very popular and there is so much aftermarket influence. Much like the Tundra gets here in the US. But I agree ,a trip to Japan would let me buy the Fancy O/E color Keyed grills and bull bars and so on and the Rear camera. I do have a wish list. But for me to import all is almost cost prohibitive. Carson Toyota does get some of this stuff I found out.

PS an 05-06 Sienna Reaview camera (appears to be an Eclipse bec-105 without the swival bracket), I hear is plug and play with my Factory Nav. Still comparing schematics on 06 H/L ltd to thee Siennas. Beats going aftermarket on a whim for something like cam if need not to.

I went ahead and did some research(nothing to do at work)
I think this can be done with all factory parts, all you need is a television camera ECU from a Lexus(All Plug and Play). Don't know the part#, that would be more research on a later day.

thanks ...still hunting part #'s myself. checked schematics for an o5 and 06 RX330. Compared them to my 06 H/L ltd. not much diff. at least where it counts for my project. There is a rear cam ECU for sure.
